A signed carbon racer belonging to actress and presenter Michaela Schaffrath will also go under the hammer on 20 and 21 November during the charity programme "Spendenmarathon" on TV channel RTL. Bids can already be submitted directly to RTL.
The proceeds from the bike and all other donations and auction profits from the RTL charity campaign will benefit children in need all over the world.
Born in 1970, the trained paediatric nurse, who initially became known under the pseudonym Gina Wild, took part in the 2nd Charitiy cycling marathon "Beneflizz" in Roth, Franconia, in July with the Isaac racer up for auction. There, one day before the Quelle Challenge long-distance triathlon, celebrities such as extreme sportsman and singer Joey Kelly and RTL presenter Wolfram Kons had already "experienced" a donation of 40,000 euros on part of the cycle route.
The auction proceeds from Michaela Schaffrath's celebrity gift will now be used to increase the amount raised.
