For its 25th anniversary, the Rosenheim Cycle Marathon is offering a new challenge: the "Mountain Hero", a 278-kilometre loop with a total of 4,159 metres in altitude.

In addition to this new mammoth distance, there are four other routes to choose from on 25 June. From the 73-kilometre beginner's distance to the challenging 230-kilometre tour over almost 2,500 metres in altitude. There will also be a 20-kilometre guided children's tour. The entry fee is staggered according to the date of registration and currently ranges from five to 35 euros, depending on the length of the route. www.rosenheimer-radmarathon.de possible.

The start and finish is at the WEKO furniture store in the south of Rosenheim. As in previous years, there will be several refreshment stations along the route in Rott am Inn, Frasdorf, at the Bäckerwirt and in Windshausen. In addition, the organisers offer breakfast at the start and finish before the start from 6am. Finishers will receive a cycling waistcoat in the anniversary design - while stocks last.

The cycle marathon will be run without timekeeping and the routes will not be closed to other traffic. Helmets are compulsory for all participants. The event is organised by the RSV Rosenheim and the Aising-Pang Ski Club.
