From 4 to 6 September 2026, Bad Dürrheim will host two cycling events. The Jan Ullrich Cycling Festival and the RiderMan will take place simultaneously over the same weekend. The routes wind through the Black Forest.
Jan Ullrich Social Ride Programme
The Business Social Ride with Jan Ullrich starts on 5 September at 10.00 am on Salinenstraße. Participation costs a hefty 900 euros per person and is limited to 50 places. The finish is scheduled for between 1.30 pm and 2.00 pm. A cycling fair will be open from 11.00 to 18.00 in the large car park. The Jan Ullrich Cycling Museum will be open from 15.00 to 20.00. The Come Together Fan Party begins at 6.30 pm at Restaurant 15 and runs until 10.30 pm. Tickets cost 199 euros and include a live programme, a meet-and-greet, a DJ and refreshments.
RiderMan races and supporting programme
The RiderMan road race starts on Sunday at 11.30 am. The route is 90 kilometres long with 1,250 metres of elevation gain. Ullrich will give the starting signal. Alternatively, participants can take part in a three-day stage race from Friday to Sunday. At 11.45 am, the balance bike race for children born between 2022 and 2024 begins. The prize-giving ceremony takes place at 12.30 pm. Also taking place are the Women’s and Junior Women’s Cycling Bundesliga, the German Mountain Championship and the U17 individual time trial.

It is not possible to register as a one-day entrant for Friday’s individual time trial. All Sunday day-starters will ride with a separate start time and their own daily classification, with prize-giving ceremonies. Entry fees are tiered according to the number of places available. Currently, a place in the stage race costs 245 euros, and a place in Sunday’s day-start is available for 95 euros.
