Rose has launched a recall for carbon forks from the Red Bull Pro SL and Red Rose SL series. Forks with the serial numbers F001201 to F001790 are affected. A manufacturing inaccuracy in the steerer tube of these forks has been noticed which is slightly out of tolerance. According to the Rose Versand website, there is an increased risk of breakage under high loads, which could lead to serious falls. To rule out any risk of breakage, it is recommended that the forks with the affected serial numbers be replaced. The affected customers will be contacted directly by Rose and will receive detailed information about the fork replacement process.
According to information from Rose, there is a customer who purchased a frameset with a white Pro-SL carbon fork during the Rose warehouse sale on 30 November / 1 December 2007 or during the winter sale from 24 January to 2 February 2008. They should contact the service number below.
