The online registration portal for Rad am Ring 2027 is now open. The organisers are introducing a graphical interface for selecting plots, whilst group bookings are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The Zwift Club will start on 4 November with weekly training sessions.

Registration for Rad am Ring 2027 opened on 8 October at 6 pm. The organisers are updating the booking system and introducing a graphical interface for selecting pitches. Participants can choose their pitch with a single click, much like selecting a seat at the opera or in a football stadium.

Rad am Ring booking system

Group bookings are now only accepted online. The system operates on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and displays the available plots once a location has been selected. The event was fully booked well in advance for the third time in 2026. For this reason, the organisers are allocating 15 per cent of the pitches in advance to long-standing groups, some of which have been taking part for over 20 years. This arrangement is to be precisely defined in the coming years to ensure that it does not create an exclusive group.

Hanns-Martin Fraas, head of Rad am Ring, explains: “Fairness for everyone is our noble goal. However, we realise that this is also a very individual perception. So we won’t be able to please everyone. However, it should be explicitly stated here that all participants are important to us – whether it’s their first time competing individually or they’ve taken part 15 times as part of an eight-person team.”

Zwift Club launches in November

The Rad am Ring Zwift Club starts on 4 November. Training sessions take place on Wednesdays at 6 pm. Thomas Schork, Location Manager at Rad am Ring, is organising the series in collaboration with the official ‘Rad am Ring X Philipps Bike Team’ Zwift Club.

The workouts are suitable for all fitness levels. Participants start together and stay together, so that nobody gets left behind.
