The newly founded Stuttgart Charity Society (SCS) aims to raise money for worthy projects with attractive events in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg. The first event will be the Stuttgart Tweed Run: participants will start on 29 April in the morning in front of Stuttgart City Hall and cycle to Solitude Palace. Anyone can take part, no costumes or specific bikes are required, but the organisers would like as many participants as possible to take part in historical dress and on beautiful old bikes - "charming creativity" is required, according to the organisers. The historic cycling spectacle starts at 10.30 a.m. on the Rathausplatz at Café Scholz. The proceeds from the entry fees (25 euros for pre-registration, 35 euros on the day of the event) will be used to support the "Olgäle" children's clinic, among others.
