The Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel presented the new race jersey for 2015 at the headquarters of manufacturer Castelli in Fonzaso. The Climber's Jersey is a particularly light and breathable jersey. According to Castelli, wind tunnel tests show that the jersey is 17 watts faster at 40 km/h than a normal cycling jersey.
9,000 athletes from 62 countries will be sent out onto the course on Sunday 5 July at 6.30 a.m. in La Villa. On the legendary Campolongo, Sella, Pordoi, Gardena, Giau, Falzarego and Valparola passes, which will be closed to traffic as usual, you can compete against the three race routes: the long one at 138 km and 4230 metres in altitude, the medium one at 106 km and 3130 metres in altitude and the Sellaronda at 55 km and 1780 metres in altitude.
In 2015, the race will once again be broadcast on Italian television from 6.15 am to 12.15 pm. Three helicopters and an aeroplane will provide aerial views of the Val Badia, Val Gardena-Fassa, Val Fodom and Ampezzano valleys and the Dolomites. Fifteen cameras and more than 50 technicians and directors will be deployed for the filming.
