Tour winner Jan Ullrich appeared on television for the first time in a year and a half on Thursday. Did the appearance convince you?

Tour winner Jan Ullrich appeared on television again on Thursday for the first time in a year and a half. Ullrich last appeared in front of the cameras on 26 February 2007. He had initially explained his position in a press conference with no questions asked. He was then a guest on Reinhold Beckmann. Both appearances were harshly criticised by observers, and Ullrich subsequently declined all media enquiries.

In the episode of "Boris Becker meets..."However, Ullrich had nothing negative to expect. His friend Boris Becker accompanied him on a visit to his primary school in Rostock, rode with him on the cycling track of his former youth club and was shown round his house in Scherzingen, where Ullrich showed him his racing bike collection. The subject of doping was only touched on indirectly, with Becker leading the way. He described Ullrich as completely rehabilitated and spoke of an unprecedented campaign against Ullrich.

We want to know how TOUR readers felt about the media comeback. Finally pictures of Germany's greatest cycling talent again, a pure tabloid story or continued stubborn silence on the subject of doping? What do you think of the TV appearance?
