FSA launches crank recall
FSA has launched a recall of the BB30 version of the Gossamer bottom bracket model.

FSA has launched a recall of the BB30 version of the Gossamer bottom bracket model. Affected are double cranks with production numbers starting with 10B, 10C and 10D.

The corresponding labelling is located on the inside of the cranks near the pedal thread. Cranks with triple chainrings are expressly not affected.

The recall was triggered by a risk of breakage of the left-hand crank fastening if it is mounted with too high a torque.

The cranks were particularly frequently installed in Cannondale complete bikes from the 2010 and 2011 model years. The affected individual models are listed on the FSA website listed. The cranks were also fitted to the Felt F75(X), Fuji ACR, Quintana Rpp CD.0.1, Litespeed C3, Raleigh RX 1.0 and Scattante CFR Comp bikes. End users are asked to contact their local bike dealer and stop using the cranks.

Questions can be sent to the e-mail address recall@fullspeedahead.com be sent.
