A group ride across Germany in June 2018 offers a challenge for long-distance cyclists. An impressive 1,060 kilometres are cycled in one go with only short refreshment stops.
The association Radeln und Helfen e.V. is once again organising a non-stop ride through Germany in 2018. The ride will start in Flensburg on 23 June and reach its destination in Reit im Winkl after around 40 hours. A ride with up to 40 participants is planned.
Anyone who dares to take on the route can apply for a starting place until April. Participation in the ride costs 200 euros (support cars/catering/finish party). In addition, each participant must bring a sponsor who will donate at least 10 cents per kilometre to the association. Radeln und Helfen e.V. uses the money to support "disadvantaged, handicapped and otherwise needy children".
