The Federal Sports Court of the German Cycling Federation (BDR) has imposed two-year bans on two amateur riders.

The Federal Sports Court of the German Cycling Federation (BDR) has imposed two-year bans on two amateur riders. Philip Schulz from RV Rodenbach and Christoph Franiak from Team Racer Top Level Augsburg were each banned for two years for doping by the Federal Sports Court. As the Website of the BDR, the bans will expire on 18 November 2010.

Schulz was convicted of doping with amphetamine and boldenone at the national federation championships in Bundenthal in May, while Franiak was found to have taken anabolic steroids at the Masters title fights in Görlitz, according to the BDR.
