The "Höttinger Höll" is the key point of the Road World Championship 2018 in Innsbruck and is completed by the pros as the last of nine challenging climbs. The "Krone Ride to Höll" race for everyone also offers amateur athletes the opportunity to get a taste of the World Championships. Exactly 2,018 athletes can compete with the times of the stars on the up to 28% steep section of the course. The "Jedermann" event is designed as a very short mountain race: Only 3.2 kilometres, but 291 metres in altitude, have to be conquered between the Innsbruck Landestheater and the finish at Gramartboden.
The registration has been open since 8 May. The entry fee varies depending on the registration period: 49 euros for registration by 3 June, 59 euros by 30 June and 69 euros by 23 September (plus 5% handling fee in each case). In addition to the entry fee, the entry fee includes refreshments at the finish, a day ticket for the women's road race and a goodie bag.
