Attention: The competition has expired
The 1st Colnago Cycling Festival takes place in Desenzano del Garda, at the southern end of the lake. The landscape of southern Lake Garda, a cycling marathon, a randonnée and a retro race, plus a bike expo, shows, pasta party and festival night - these are the trump cards of this new Italian racing bike festival.
There are three routes to choose from for the cycle marathon on Sunday, 4 May: a short route with 64.2 kilometres and 552 metres of altitude, a medium route with 110.07 kilometres and 1,036 metres of altitude and a long route with 144.45 kilometres and 1,954 metres of altitude.
On Sunday, retro fans will also get their money's worth: the "Garda Legend" - a race on old bikes (built before 1987) in the style of the legendary L'Eroica - leads over 64.2 kilometres and 552 metres in altitude through the region. Anyone who has always been put off by the dust and bumps on the "strade bianche" of the L'Eroica can start here with peace of mind: the Garda Legend runs entirely on tarmac roads
