Colnago Cycling Festival 2018 - start of registration for cycling marathon on Lake Garda

On the south-western shore of Lake Garda, in Desenzano del Garda, the Granfondo Colnago will take place on 8 April 2018 as part of the Colnago Cycling Festival (6-8 April). The day before, the "Giro del Lago" runs around Lake Garda without timekeeping. There will be routes covering 145 kilometres and 520 metres of elevation gain and 205 kilometres with 2,100 metres of elevation gain. The long route leads via Salò to Riva del Garda, up to Monte Baldo, down to Valeggio and Borghetto and back to Desenzano. There is also the "Garda Legend" for classic racing bikes and the "Junior Bike" for youngsters.

The centrepiece of the festival is the 6th Granfondo Colnago with two race courses: On the long course (Granfondo), cyclists tackle 159 kilometres and 2,044 metres in altitude, while the shorter "Mediofondo" course covers 110 kilometres and 1,384 metres in altitude.

Registrations are possible via the homepage www.colnagocyclingfestival.com possible. The combined package "Granfondo/Mediofondo + Randonnèe" costs 70 euros, participation only in the Medio- or Granfondo costs 60 euros.
