The event primarily promises fun on "off-road racing bike tracks". The "Candy B. Graveller" is named after and inspired by the Candy Bombers of the Berlin Airlift. The route runs along the approx. 20-mile-wide air corridor that led to Berlin at the time.
Participants can expect to cover around 550 kilometres on roads and cycle paths. The start is on 28 April at 6 pm and participants are on their own responsibility on the route without timekeeping. The route is set by a GPS track and each rider is self-sufficient. Participation is free of charge, but involves a donation to selected partners. In addition, each starter will receive a "care package" to deliver to a social organisation.
