The Bremer Stern combines two different race formats over two days. The Garlstedt individual time trial is scheduled for 22 August 2026, followed one day later by the LVM Criterium. Both events will be held in all age groups according to German Cycling.
The Bundeswehr logistics school provides the so-called armoured road in Garlstedt. The fully cordoned-off forest route is 8.5 km long and leads to a turning point, making the total distance 17 km. The start is from a professional ramp of the German Armed Forces. Beinhold Bela from VC Vegesack holds the course record with 22:56 minutes. The meeting point is Panzerstraße in 28790 Schwanewede.
The criterium on 23 August will take place on the Mercedes-Benz plant's own control track in Bremen-Hemelingen. The 1.4 km circuit is narrow and includes a steep bend. The LV-Meisterschaft Bremen is held from the U17 class upwards. The Bremen Cycling Club organises this part of the event. The meeting point is the Mercedes-Benz Customer Centre Bremen, Im Holter Feld 10.
The competition for the Bremer Stern is organised nationwide via the rad-net platform. Around 150 riders from all over Germany took part in the previous editions in May and August 2025. The individual time trial attracted particularly strong interest.
