Three years ago, #ödar was launched. In its premiere year, 1.5 million TV viewers and online users watched the programmes; by 2021, this figure had risen to over two million. What began with a few events is now developing into a format that runs from March to October. The focus is on live productions of many cycling events as well as our own TV formats. This year, #ödar is reporting live for around 200 hours.
The Neusiedlersee Cycle Marathon, the Ötztal Cycle Marathon, the Tour de Carinthia and the Tour of the Dolomites, among others, will be broadcast. From competitive sport, the GP Leonding, GP Vorarlberg, the Oberösterreich Rundfahrt and the city centre criterium in Wels can be seen live on K19. The #ödar programme also includes triathlon sport, such as the Kitzbühel Triathlon and the Challenge Walchsee in summer.
The #ödar programme is even more diverse. From MTB marathons to the E-Bike World Championships, ultra-cycling races such as the Race Around Austria and the in-house Head2Head format. New event ideas from the gravel bike scene or the Vintage Tour in Lower Austria will also entertain spectators.
In Austria, the programmes are available on the Magenta cable network (K19 channel 319), A1 TV (K19 channel 399 & APP 100) and other regional cable networks. Viewers from Germany can watch them online at www.k19.at or ödar.at.
