With the Alpecin Days on 11/12 August, Bielefeld is rediscovering its love of cycling: the city in East Westphalia has a long, albeit somewhat forgotten, history of cycling, but this is now being spiced up in style. On Sunday, 12 August, the "Jedermann" race will start over either 40, 80 or 120 kilometres on a circuit with start and finish at the time-honoured cycling track. The two former professional cyclists Jan Ullrich and Jörg Ludewig have ridden the circuit in the south-east of the city and show the Alpecin Day participants the most important sections on video.
