Cyclists without a licence can take part in the Cycling World Cup. The races in the various age groups will take place between 24 and 27 August.
From 28 to 31 August 2013, the licensed riders in the Masters class will take over the race course. Participants in the UCI Masters Cycling Classic must be over 30 years old and are therefore considered "seniors" in the world of racing cycling. Organiser Harald Baumann is expecting over 3,000 participants.
At the 14th World Cycling Championships for Journalists, which will also be held in St. Johann in Tirol during this cycling week, the writing guild will be able to show what it can do in terms of sport. From 24 to 26 August 2013, this world championship will take place for the first time in the St. Johann in Tirol region. It starts on Saturday with the sprint race. The journalists will then start the road race on Sunday. In the mountain time trial on Monday, they will take up the hunt for a great in road cycling: Francesco Moser.
