After the "warm up" last year, the first 12H Cycling Marathon will take place on the race track in Monza, north-east of Milan, on the last weekend of June 2015. The night race starts at 9 pm on Saturday and finishes at 9 am on Sunday morning. Cyclists can ride alone or in teams of two, four or eight on the almost 5.8 kilometre-long historic circuit in the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. There will be overall rankings for men's, women's and mixed teams. Participants on single-speed bikes will also be categorised separately.
Registration is possible until 27 May on the event website. The entry fee for an individual start is 115 euros. Registration for a two/four/eight-man team costs 200/360/640 euros.
