Announced months ago, Sigma's new, compact LED headlight is now on sale. The 200 gram lamp with a permanently integrated ratchet holder, which holds the headlight securely on handlebars of various diameters, lights up in two stages. Loaded with four rechargeable batteries (1,500 milliampere hours), the headlight shines for a rather meagre three hours at the brightest level; the light profile and luminosity are good to satisfactory, and road bike rides in the dark are possible. The housing is waterproof, so riding in the rain is no problem.
