Individual test: Blackburn Flea luminaire
Smart charging function with batteries and flexible range of use for both cycling and jogging.

The "Flea" LED light from Blackburn, which was presented for the first time at Eurobike 2008, was also convincing in the practical test. The highlight of the waterproof emergency lights, each weighing 18 grams, is that they can be charged using batteries instead of a charger. This even works with ageing AA cells (1.5 volts), which are docked onto the lights via a cable bridge. The bright front light, which can also be used for jogging or as a small torch, lasts for a good hour in full mode and longer in dimmed or flashing mode.

PLUS: Clever charging function; waterproof; flexible holder

MINUS: Short burn time of the front LED
