Good lights on your bike are important. To see the way, but also to be seen. How does the Schindelhauer light perform in the TOUR-Check?

Headlights from Schindelhauer in the TOUR test

The Lightskin Naca Road from Schindelhauer is a good companion for anyone starting out at dawn or travelling after sunset. The road-legal headlight is the first LED battery-powered light from Schindelhauer, which is actually known for its trendy urban bikes. The cut-off line of the light cone is razor-sharp and the light profile is so wide that small sticks or stones at the side of the road can always be recognised, even on tight bends. At the brightest light level (520 lumens according to the manufacturer), the battery lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes at around zero degrees.

That's a good average. A good ten minutes before it is empty, the red indicator flashes as a warning. Correspondingly more residual light comes out of the headlight when you then switch to one of the three lower light levels. The push button on the side is easy to feel. Charging via the supplied USB-C cable takes just under 5 hours. The headlamp weighs 177 grams and only fits on a Gopro holder, which may have to be purchased separately.
