CATEYE GVOLT50 + MICRO G
The headlight and rear light can be mounted without tools on handlebars and seatposts of common diameters, although the fastener on the headlight is somewhat difficult to release. The rear light has a wide beam so that you can be seen well from all sides, but the light duration of five hours is comparatively short. On the other hand, the front light shines for a good three hours with a homogeneous carpet of light. However, the battery indicator only informs you of this 15 minutes before it goes out.

CONTEC 24SEVENPLUS
Contec's low-cost headlight controls the light intensity using a brightness sensor. The light duration of the headlight is good average, the reserve light is short at 15 minutes. However, the indicator works reliably. The headlight illuminates the close-up area rather weakly, the rear light is clearly visible from all sides. However, it has to be recharged after just four and a half hours.

SIGMA AURA 80 + BLAZE
Although the Sigma set is slightly more expensive than the competition, it offers impeccable light and long battery life. The precise indicator for the battery charge level on the headlight and the emergency light, which continues to shine for almost two hours after almost four hours of full power, are also worthy of praise. The highlight of the slim rear light with its wide beam angle is the integrated brake light function. It also shines for so long that it rarely needs to be recharged.

TRELOCK LS 560
The rear light and headlight are characterised by their endurance. The rear light shines for almost eleven hours, while the front LED casts a homogeneous carpet of light on the tarmac for just under three hours and then still has enough power for almost ten hours of emergency lighting. The three-stage indicator on the headlight provides reliable information about the charge status, but is missing on the rear light. Mounting the two holders on the handlebars and seat post is a little fiddly, but the lights are easy to remove.
