With its large display (480 x 640 pixels), the TwoNav Terra bike computer is particularly suitable for those who like to have a good overview of routes and data. The device is said to be particularly powerful. It records over 120 real-time data points that can be tracked on the screen and has a battery life of around 15 hours. In addition, a heart rate or cadence sensor can be connected to the sat nav via Bluetooth - just like a smartphone. Current values, information and notifications are shown on the display.
The TwoNav Terra has particularly detailed orientation, which is ensured by the four positioning networks GPS, Galileo, Glonass and Beidou. With the help of topographical maps, shortcuts and points of interest can be displayed in addition to the terrain. As with many other bike computers and navigation apps, you can create your own routes on the GPS tracker by setting waypoints. A notification appears on the display if you deviate. If users are not familiar with an area or tour destination, they can use roadbooks. These present completed routes including photos and experiences.
The TwoNav Terra complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard. This means it can be used in hot and cold temperatures, shock, water and vibration. The housing is completely waterproof and thus protects the battery. The display can also be operated with gloves, and the four side buttons should help in the rain. The GPS tracker can be attached to the handlebars or stem of the bike using the QuickLock bracket.
In addition to well-known apps such as Strava and Komoot, Terra can be connected to the SeeMe app. The live tracking app provides real-time position tracking for greater safety and sends emergency notifications to selected contacts. In addition to the two-stage stem and bike mount, the purchase of the bike computer for €399 includes free use of the SeeMe app for three years and an annual subscription to the TwoNav PRO plan.
