In addition to the normal training data, you can use the free Polar Personal Trainer software to display your route as a track in Google Maps, including an altitude profile. It is also possible to upload and download the route data. If you get lost, the "Back to start" function will help you find your way. The 55 gram watch is charged via a USB cable. We really liked the display: it is easy to read even in sunshine; the five buttons can be operated intuitively and the pressure points of the buttons are defined. Polar promises a runtime of twelve hours on a full charge with the GPS module switched on; one charge lasted ten hours in our practical tests. The device cannot process ANT+ data from external sensors. However, its own speed and cadence sensors are available as accessories.
