Simplon is entering the e-road market late, but with two models. The Kiaro PMAX is an offshoot of the Kiaro Disc marathon racer, while the Inissio PMAX is a close relative of the Inissio gravel bike. Both bikes only reveal their electric secret at second glance. The Vorarlberg-based company relies entirely on the Ebikemotion hub motor for the additional drive. A 250 Wh battery is located in the down tube, while a range extender offers the option of doubling the range. The Kiaro PMAX should weigh 10.9 kilos with motor and battery - from 4,799 euros.
