Test 2015: bottle cage from Carbonworks
Tuning enthusiasts whose dream bikes need to shed a few grams can save 40 grams compared to a conventional model with the bottle cage from the young manufacturer Carbonworks.
For the time being, the handcrafted holder will only be available in small quantities from selected retailers - or directly from its manufacturer Simon Bühler. Our test model weighs exactly 5.0 grams. The price of 65 euros seems reasonable considering the amount of manual labour involved. The carbon claw, which is available for cylindrical and conical bottles, holds full bottles absolutely securely and the lightweight tuning part requires no special handling in daily use.
