Individual test: Thermos flasks
The normal drinking bottle is hardly suitable for storing liquids in winter. Either the valve freezes shut at zero degrees or the contents turn into a block of ice. Elite and Camelbak promise that their new thermos bottles will at least keep their contents liquid even at temperatures below zero.

In our test during the wintery pre-Christmas period at minus five degrees, the water in both bottles cooled from 42 to 7 degrees in a period of two and a half hours. This is an acceptable drinking temperature for some white wines. Both closures remained ice-free.

PLUS: Bottle contents remain drinkable

PricesElite 11 euros (0.5 l)/13 euros (0.65 l); Camelbak 15.95 euros (0.61 l)

Colours: 4 or 6 colour options
