Northwave has incorporated materials, solutions and technologies into the Revolution road shoe that come from decades of experience at the top of cycling, in collaboration with some of the sport's greatest champions and with an ever-growing number of cycling fans. The result is a shoe with "Pro Fit", characterised by remarkable aesthetics and technical solutions geared towards the needs of professionals, but without the extreme stiffness and price of a World Tour shoe.

Revolution is a brand new shoe for demanding and ambitious road cyclists who know which details can make a real difference in performance without sacrificing comfort and durability. The Revolution is designed to perfectly support every pedal stroke, whether sprinting in pursuit of the KOM/QOM or on the longest distances.

The Revolution combines innovative elements - first and foremost the new Morph Carbon sole - with Northwave trademarks such as the SLW3 double rotor with micrometric adjustment and the patented Powershape design for optimum arch support.

The Morph Carbon sole combines stiffness and comfort

Morph Carbon is the essence of the Northwave revolution, the solid basis for the innovative solutions of this shoe. The carbon composite sole with a stiffness index of 13 on a scale of 15 has been developed to find the ideal balance between comfort and performance, thanks to a surprising mix of lightweight but stiff and durable materials that make it high performance.

The stiffness of the outsole with injected carbon fibre ensures optimum power transmission in every phase of pedalling, and its geometry is perfectly adapted to the anatomical shape of the foot.

Thanks to the Powershape design, the sole follows the anatomical shape of the arch of the foot, providing support and comfort: stiffness and comfort go hand in hand with the Morph Carbon. The two ventilation openings in the sole optimise the supply and removal of air and ensure ventilation and breathability to keep feet fresh.

With the Morph Carbon, the adjustment options for the cleats, which are essential for correct positioning and optimum power transmission, are even greater than before. Compatibility with Speedplay/Wahoo is guaranteed by the special Northwave adapter. The replaceable rubber heel pads further extend the service life of the product.

Lightweight upper with unmistakable style

The upper of the Northwave Revolution is made of PU synthetic leather with breathable mesh and laser perforations. Textile eyelets provide a wrap-around fit and the tongue is made of open Airnet mesh, which ensures an even more comfortable and lighter fit without pressure points.

The upper materials not only contribute to overall comfort and lightness, but are also designed to be easy to clean.

The heel cap with silicone injection prevents the foot from slipping when pedalling and always keeps it in the correct position. The X-Dial SLW3 dual-rotor system, which is also used in the top shoes of the World Tour, offers a high-precision dual-zone closure that can also be set and adjusted while riding.

Price, fit and colours

The Northwave Revolution is available in four colour variants: black, white, light grey/sage and in a more striking version with neon red inserts.

As feet vary not only in length but also in shape, the Revolution is also available in a wide version. To cater for those who need more volume in the fit without compromising on performance, the sizes for the toe, midfoot and instep have been completely revised and redesigned.
