Campagnolo is expanding its Super Record 13 Wireless platform presented in June 2025 with several new variants. The focus is on the new Super Record X 1x13 for Gravel, with which the Italian company is expanding its range for off-road use. The platform now comprises a total of six different configurations for different applications: three for road cycling (2x13 Road, 1x13 Road and TT 1x13), one for gravel (Super Record X 1x13) and an all-road version (Super Record 2x13 All Road). The range is complemented by the new Bora X wheels, which have been specially designed for gravel use.
According to Campagnolo, the new Super Record X 1x13 is the company's first radio-controlled single groupset specifically for gravel. It is based on the same technology as the road version, but has specific adaptations for off-road use. The centrepiece is a rear derailleur with the so-called Nano Clutch and long cage, which is compatible with cassettes with up to 48 teeth. The Nano Clutch ensures constant chain tension and prevents the chain from jumping off on uneven paths.
The X rear derailleur has a reinforced mounting area and a carbon chain cage that has been extended to 92.5 millimetres. Despite a similar weight to the road version, the manufacturer claims that it is more shock-resistant and more rigid. The two idler pulleys have different diameters: the upper guide pulley with twelve teeth sits on a recessed axle, while the lower tension pulley has 16 teeth. The removable battery is said to offer a range of up to 750 kilometres.
The new single crankset of the Super Record X bears the typical Campagnolo style features such as visible carbon fibre and the special branding with the lettering "Super Record X" on the outside and an "X" on the inside.
The aluminium mono chainring is available in eight different versions: 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50 and 52 teeth. The teeth have a new profile, which is the result of experience with the Ekar groupset and is intended to ensure optimum engagement of the chain and smooth drive even on uneven terrain. The cranks are available in lengths of 165, 170, 172.5 and 175 millimetres.
Two cassettes are available for the Super Record X:
Both are compatible with the N3W freehub body, so no special adapters or hubs are required. The cassettes have a black chrome finish and a recalibrated gear gradation.
With the Ergopower levers, Campagnolo has opted for a weight-optimised solution: the left lever has no electronics and functions purely as a brake lever, while the right lever remains unchanged and controls the entire groupset via the inner thumb shifter as well as the mode and smart buttons. The carbon levers are easy to operate and their distance to the handlebar curve is adjustable to allow optimum adaptation to different hand sizes.
Campagnolo presents the Bora X wheels to match the new groupset. They have 50 millimetre high rims with 27 millimetre inner width; the hooked rims and are compatible with tyres from 35 millimetre width. The spoking follows Campagnolo's familiar G3 lacing geometry, but has been modified to meet the requirements of fast gravel riding. The seven groupsets, each with three spokes, have two different spoke types on each side: aerodynamic spokes on the cassette side in the rear wheel and on the brake disc side in the front wheel, as well as elliptical spokes on the opposite sides, which are designed to dampen vibrations better. Campa specifies a weight of 1,430 grams for the wheelset.
In addition to the Super Record X for gravel, the extended platform also includes a Super Record 1x13 Road version with a mono chainring for the road. This is available with five different chainrings (44, 46, 48, 50, 52 teeth) and is also equipped with the Nano Clutch. Campagnolo has also announced a special 1x13 version for time trials for 2026.
The Super Record 2x13 All Road combines elements of the road and gravel versions. It has a rear derailleur with Nano Clutch and can be configured with seven different chainring combinations and four different cassettes.
The recommended retail price for the Super Record X 1x13 Gravel starts at €3,375. The Super Record 2x13 All Road is available from €4,370, while the Super Record 1x13 Road costs from €3,410. All versions are also available with the HPPM power measurement system for a surcharge of €1,167. The new Bora X wheels cost from €2,290.
