The Speedplay adapter for clipless pedals
Road cyclists want to be able to ride their bikes for a few metres without road cycling shoes - and still not slip off the clipless pedals, for example on a cycling holiday or on the morning commute to the bakery.
Speedplay has now come up with the Platformer, consisting of two plastic shells that are connected around the pedal body with a wire bracket, so that the trainers or road shoes have sufficient grip on such transfers. This simple solution is easy to fit, offers a non-slip contact surface and costs 25 euros.
