The Spanish manufacturer Rotor is trying to establish itself alongside Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram with the Uno_ groupset. We show you what's behind the new drivetrain

Founded in 1994 by Pablo Carrasco and Ignacio Estellés, Rotor was previously known primarily as a manufacturer of accessories. Now the Spanish company wants to take the next step - with the Uno hydraulic shifting system. We paid a visit to Rotor's headquarters near Madrid and took a look at the new shifting system. Big things: The voluminous grips work according to the SRAM operating scheme and are best suited to large hands. You can tell from the somewhat loose-fitting rubber grips that this is the first evolutionary stage.
