Cervélo has launched a recall for the 3T time trial handlebars Aduro and Aura. The P3 and P5 models are affected.
P5-Six time trial handlebars from 2012 and 2013 are affected. The affected handlebars were manufactured between January 2012 and July 2012. On the Cervélo website, the serial number can be used to check whether the handlebar is affected by the voluntary recall.
There is another recall for the Aerobars Aura Pro Cervélo Custom Edition. They were fitted to the models P3 with Shimano Ultegra and P5 Three with SRAM Red. The affected complete wheels were delivered between September 2012 and January 2013. Only certain Aerobars with the following characteristics are affected:
- no 3T logo on the pads
- Ski bend extensions bent upwards
- the arm pad holders can be set to three different positions
