Headphones when riding a road bike? Certainly borderline with music in your ears - but not prohibited by law.
It makes perfect sense for navigating via app with smartphone and voice output. And there are supposed to be racing cyclists who also practise other sports. The X3 from Jaybird is an in-ear headset designed for sporting use that connects to the sound source via Bluetooth. Gore-Tex membrane and seals protect the earphones from sweat. They can be customised with plugs and rubber wings in three sizes and controlled either by button or voice command. One battery charge lasts for just under eight hours. The sound can be customised with the MySound app.
