The cover is shock and splash protection in one, all buttons can be operated without restriction, the headphone and charging sockets are sealed with plugs that can be opened if necessary. We really liked the matching holder, which can either be mounted on the clamp cone of the steerer tube or on the handlebars or stem using a strap. It holds the box securely in place with a sliding lock. Unfortunately, the weatherproof version is currently only available for iPhones; for Samsung or HTC smartphones, Topeak currently only offers the non-weatherproof RideCase. One disadvantage is the poor readability in sunshine.
