Company bike leasing is becoming increasingly popular
Company bike leasing is one of the most popular employer benefits in Germany. According to the latest Benefits Report from Allianz Pension Partners, it ranks fourth on the list. For the study, more than 1,000 employees, specialists and managers from over 160 companies were surveyed.

The Allianz Pension Partners Benefits Report 2025/26 confirms that workplace bike leasing has risen to become one of the most sought-after employer benefits. Bicycles and e-bikes recorded the highest growth rates of all the benefits surveyed. The study shows that benefits are generally becoming more important. Four in ten of the companies surveyed want to boost their appeal as employers through additional workplace benefits. 38 per cent of companies plan to expand employer-funded benefits more strategically in future.

Digital portal solution for employers

JobRad uses a digital portal solution to organise the provision of company bicycles between employers and employees. Over 100,000 employers with more than eight million employees use the service. Its clients include Bosch, Barmer and Deutsche Bahn.

Company bike leasing serves as a cost-neutral alternative to a pay rise. Whilst a pay rise costs the company money and is subject to tax for employees, every cent of the contribution towards a company bike goes directly to the employees. Employees benefit from tax-advantaged company bikes as well as services related to bike use.

Trade fair appearance in Cologne

JobRad will be exhibiting at the Zukunft Personal Europe trade fair in Cologne from 15 to 17 September with a 100-square-metre stand. Those interested can find the company in Hall 5-1 on the Corporate Health Stage. Experts from JobRad will explain to decision-makers and HR managers how to implement a company bike-leasing scheme as an additional employee benefit.
