The Ksyrium Pro Disc opens Mavic's first line of explicit road bike wheels for disc brakes
The new rim profile, the hubs and the spoking of the current Ksyrium wheels (see TOUR 8/2014) have been modified accordingly, and the front wheel is also compatible with a 15-millimetre thru-axle in addition to normal quick-releases. The set should weigh 1,535 grams without tyres and discs and cost exactly 1,000 euros including tyres. An affordable Aksium One Disc will also be on show, with the set costing just 200 euros.
