Component manufacturer Pro has a new handlebar tape with a silicone adhesive surface.
Compared to conventional tapes, this has the advantage that the handlebar tape can be wrapped several times without the adhesive surface coming off the tape. This works well in practice. Although the adhesive strength decreases slightly, it was still sufficient even after five wraps. The inexpensive version for 8.95 euros is available in seven colours, while a higher-quality "micro fibre" version for 12.95 euros is available in black, silver and white.
