The system is called Lumos and consists of two units that are mounted in the handlebar ends using an expanding clamp. Low-cost AA cells provide the power supply and the manufacturer promises ten hours of operation. Initial tests have shown that the system has proved its worth as a position light at dusk; the indicator function is nice, but does not release the rider from the obligation to signal when turning.
PLUS Combined front and rear light; not in the splash zone of the tyres
MINUS Five centimetre straight handlebar end required for mounting
Price 20 Euro
