The special feature of the new SGL 202 Vario cycling goggles from Uvex is the so-called Variomatic, which adjusts the tint to the ambient light.

The manufacturer also promises a fog-free lens even in cold weather thanks to a special coating. The adjustment of the tint works and is pleasant, the impression of brightness is always uniform. The glasses are fog-free in cold weather while driving, the lens fogs up when stopped at traffic lights, but quickly becomes clear again with slight movement. The goggles are large and are only available in one size - making them less suitable for drivers with small heads or narrow faces. The nose pad, which can be easily adjusted to any nose shape, is practical. The 29 gram goggles are available in a total of six colours at a price of 130 euros. The scope of delivery includes either a grey, lightly tinted lens or a more heavily tinted brown lens. Somewhat awkward: changing the lens, which requires a precision mechanic's screwdriver.

PLUS Nose pad; wind protection; lightweight
MINUS does not hold on small heads
