Test 2017: Road bike shoes from Scott
Road bike shoes with laces seem to be a relic of days gone by, replaced by those with practical Velcro, twist or ratchet fasteners. Scott has a different opinion.

In contrast, Scott offers the laced Road RC Lace with an ultra-modern, stiff and ventilated carbon sole. Because the laces weigh virtually nothing, this makes the shoe lighter overall. In size 43, the lace-up shoe, which is only available in black, weighs just 550 grams per pair. The shoe sits comfortably on the foot, even riders with a wide forefoot and high instep feel at ease in it. The disadvantage of the laces is that you can't adjust the tension while riding; you have to stop to tighten or loosen them. Laces (very long) are included in neon yellow and black.

PLUS Good power transmission, comfortable, well ventilated, practical donning aid
MINUS Tightening or loosening the lacing is only possible while standing

Price 250 Euro
Sizes 38 to 48
