TOUR tested Sidi's Shot 2 road cycling shoes with exclusive fastening system. How does the model perform?

First of all: The test rider has problem feet. Top shoes that have fitted well for years, such as those from Specialized, no longer fit well due to changes in the lasts of the newer models. The search for successors to tried and tested shoes that fit narrow feet with long toes was a lengthy one. The first success: the Sidi top shoe Shot 2 - now available as a limited edition in sizes 38 to 48.

Thanks to the Double Tecno3 Flex fastening system used exclusively by the manufacturer, the individually adjustable heel cap and the narrow cut, the shoe fits medium to narrow feet like a glove.

It is also lightweight and offers good power transmission thanks to its extremely stiff carbon sole. The Italian product is not ideal for triathlon: the entry is a little tight and complicated - the manufacturer's video tutorial is recommended. Sometimes a seam on the tongue presses on the toe joints - you should pay attention to this when trying on the shoe.
