Fizik presents the Ferox 2 Carbon, a racing shoe for gravel and cross-country with a weight of 295 grams per shoe. The full carbon sole achieves Fizik stiffness level 10, while the reduced drop is designed to improve foot stability. The dual closure system combines a powerstrap on the instep with the BOA-Li2 fit system on the forefoot. The PU-laminated mesh upper is water-repellent and has reinforced zones in high-wear areas.

The anatomical shape of the Ferox 2 Carbon is based on a straighter axis and a reduced drop. The extended toe box gives the foot more room to fully stretch. The foot is surrounded by perforated Airprene material, which is designed to provide pressure-free support.

Closure system and fit

The powerstrap on the instep keeps the foot in position at high cadences. The BOA Li2 Fit System on the forefoot allows you to fine-tune the fit. The shoe is available in a regular width.

Upper material and construction

The translucent PU-laminated upper is made of lightweight mesh for ventilation and additional PU layers in high-wear areas. The water-repellent construction is designed to prevent the shoe from becoming heavier in wet or muddy conditions. Functional zones in the upper combine breathability with protection.

Sole and area of application

The newly developed full carbon sole is wider and flatter to maximise contact with the pedal. The full-surface rubber coating, including the metatarsal area and cleats, is designed to improve grip when running. The Ferox 2 Carbon is designed for gravel, cross-country and cyclocross and is available in four colour variants: White-Light Grey, Black-Dark Green, Light Grey-Mint Green and Purple-Black.
