Maap and Quoc work together

Maap and Quoc continue their successful partnership and present the Gran Tourer XC in the new "Graphite" colourway. The Australian clothing brand and the British shoe manufacturer have already jointly developed the "Fog" version of the Gran Tourer XC and several variants of the M3 Pro. The new Graphite version features Maap's characteristic design language with muted grey tones and colour accents on the All-Terrain Performance Tread sole.

The design differs from the standard model thanks to special Maap-exclusive details. The Alt_Road webbing pull strap at the heel bears the brand colours and makes the shoe easier to put on. The ribbed TPU tongue is now lighter and adapts to the shape of the foot. Enlarged ventilation openings improve air circulation during intense exertion.

Carbon-reinforced sole for efficient power transmission

The Gran Tourer XC uses a stiff carbon composite sole for direct power transfer to the pedals. The TPU tread offers grip on various surfaces, while replaceable studs increase traction on loose terrain. This combination makes the shoe suitable for gravel races as well as technical MTB passages. The weight of 327 grams is in the range of lightweight performance shoes.

The abrasion-resistant microfibre surface withstands the stresses and strains of off-road terrain. A reinforced toe cap protects against stones and branches on trail rides. The material retains its shape even when wet and dries quickly after crossing streams or puddles.

Dual dial system for precise fit

Quoc's dual dial closure system allows independent adjustment of the forefoot and midfoot. The two dial fasteners can also be operated with gloves and offer micro-adjustments for the optimum fit. A tongue construction with lateral connections prevents slipping and pressure points during long rides.

The heel padding stabilises the foot in the shoe and reduces hotspots on rides lasting several hours. Ventilation channels in the sole and perforated areas in the upper material ensure air circulation. This construction keeps your feet dry even in high temperatures or on intense climbs.
