As with many products from Q36.5, the Italian clothing manufacturer's new shoe model places great importance on thermoregulation. Breathability and moisture transport should be the core competences of the new Dottore Clima - in short: the well-being of the foot in the shoe.
The Italian manufacturer also promises a particularly light feel. The shoe should feel "like a sock". Q36.5 puts the weight of the new development at 270 grams. The Dottore Clima road cycling shoes utilise the technology of the Unique, the first road cycling shoe from Q36.5, in terms of fit and power transmission. In addition, the thermal regulation of the Dottore Clima has been optimised.
A specially knitted upper material consisting of several modules and different types of fibres is intended to ensure comfort and breathability - the manufacturer did not provide any details on the exact composition. The differently compressed material of the seamless construction is intended to provide more support in the areas where it is needed, thus ensuring greater comfort and a better fit of the racing shoe. By dispensing with TPU reinforcements and adhesives, production is also intended to be more environmentally friendly.
The road cycling shoe is particularly suitable for widths B, C and D, with A being a particularly narrow fit and E a very wide fit. The shoes can be closed using a new fastening system with BOA technology.
The Dottore Clima road cycling shoes can already be pre-ordered on the Q36.5 website or from brand retailers in grey or black. Delivery is scheduled for 1 March. The price for a pair of the new road cycling shoes is 470 euros.
