The Specialized S-Works Trivent on test 2012
The transition zone - the often underestimated fourth discipline in the triathlon. If you don't want to lose any time here, you have a clear advantage with the new S-Works Trivent shoe from Specialized.

The heel cap, which can be lowered backwards and locked with a rotary knob, makes stepping in quick and easy, just like with slippers. A few tenths of a second can be gained if the shoes are fixed in the entry position on the crank before the start; the shoes have special catch hooks for this purpose. Feet dry quickly after swimming in the open, tongueless shoes. The noticeable ventilation during the ride is unusual at first, but very pleasant on warm days. However, due to their construction, the shoes also sit a little looser than typical road bike shoes. At 580 grams in size 44, they weigh barely more than a comparable pair of road cycling shoes plus socks.

PLUS easy entry; good ventilation; good power transmission
MINUS Only suitable for warm days
