Carbon soles are now virtually standard in high-quality cycling shoes. Not so with the Road Team BOA from Scott.

The sole of this shoe is made of glass fibre-reinforced nylon, which makes it comparatively flexible. Not necessarily something for sprinters, but anyone who has problems with the extreme hardness of carbon soles will probably appreciate the shoe for this very reason. We found the fit to be excellent, appealing to riders with narrow to medium-width feet. Thanks to the patented Boa twist fastener, which is combined with a Velcro fastener, the shoe can be adjusted easily and precisely. Further plus points are the high-quality workmanship and the relatively low weight.

PLUS lightweight; good fit; high-quality workmanship
