The English luxury outfitter Rapha is expanding its range to include racing bike shoes. Now you can dress from head to toe in Rapha - if you are prepared to spend 360 euros on a pair of shoes.

As you would expect, the British brand is also understated in its shoe design, which is why the perforated yak leather shoe is only available in black or white. Only the front strap forms a colour contrast. The shoe was created in cooperation with Giro. This can be recognised, for example, by the carbon sole, which, like the soles of Giro shoes, is manufactured by Easton. The insoles come from Giro's Super Natural Fit programme. The well-padded seat at the heel, which reliably prevents slippage, should also be emphasised. As a reminiscence of former cycling heroes, the left insole features the likeness of Fausto Coppi, while on the right Jacques Anquetil has been trampled underfoot. Tribute to the leather design: one pair is around 200 grams heavier than other top shoes.
