With a pair weight of a feather-light 440 grams, Giro's new top shoes rightly bear the name Prolight SLX.

Available in white and black, the shoe with a thin, flat carbon sole leaves enough space for the forefoot to spread out unhindered during a ride lasting several hours. The heel area is raised and three Velcro fasteners hold the foot securely in place. Mesh inserts in the front and ventilation integrated into the sole allow air to reach the foot.

The scope of delivery includes an insole and three insole pieces of different thicknesses, which are velcroed under the insole at the height of the arch of the foot depending on the shape of the foot. We liked this flexible form of customisation on long rides, as the support reduces foot fatigue.
